How do I book a service?

Do you require a deposit to book services?
For some services, a deposit may be required. Please inquire at the time of booking for specific details related to your requested service.
How does Monkey Business stay in touch with pet owners?
We use a robust client portal to provide detailed updates on every service, whether it's long hikes, pet adventures, or overnight stays. You’ll receive daily reports that include information about walk lengths, locations, feeding times, and more, along with photos and videos of your pet’s day.
How many pets do you care for at one time?
We focus on personalized care. We only care for pets from one household at a time.
Should I tip my pet sitter?
Tipping is appreciated! You can include gratuity on your invoice or provide it directly to the sitter in cash. Auto-gratuity options are also available in the client portal.
What happens if I extend my trip?
Please let us know as soon as possible through the client portal, email, text, or call. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll attempt to contact you. If unsuccessful, we’ll continue services at the agreed-upon rate until you return.
What is your cancellation policy?
Monthly/Daily Services: Cancel at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a 100% fee.
Vacation Services: Notify us as soon as possible. A 50% refund applies for cancellations made one week before the start date; no refunds are issued for cancellations made closer to the date. During emergencies, cancellations may be penalty-free.
